Topeka Advertising Federation Hall of Fame Luncheon

The Topeka Advertising Federation Hall of Fame Luncheon is in
Honor of individuals who have distinguished themselves in the field of advertising and volunteer efforts in the Topeka community.

2007 TAF Hall of Fame Inductees:
Charles “Charlie” Cutler – former advertising manager for Ed Marling’s Furniture
Sam Dietz (posthumous) – former advertising manager for Capitol Federal Savings
Vince Frye – partner at FryeAllen, Inc.

The TAF Hall of Fame Luncheon is a fundraiser for the annual TAF scholarship program. This year three college students will each be awarded
a $1,000 scholarship in the name of our 2007 Hall of Fame Inductees.

Speaker: Mitch Holthus, voice of the Kansas City Chiefs

He has been named "Kansas Sportscaster of the Year" eight times in his career. He has also been named the top play-by-play sportscaster in Kansas nine times by the Kansas Association of Broadcasters. As a result, he is the youngest sportscaster in Kansas history to receive every major sports casting award. Mitch will bring a high-energy, motivational presentation mixed in with a bit of humor that will add to our own Hall of Fame celebration.

Since joining SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) as Public Relations Manager in May of 2003, Curtis Kitchen has been instrumental in the continued outreach of SCCA and its competition programs on a national and international level. His event coverage appears regularly on web sites like SPEED Channel’s speedtv.com and motorsport.com.

Curtis has also been a guest on national radio shows like Motortrend Radio and promoted several SCCA series on local and regional broadcasts through media outlets including ESPN, ESPN The Magazine, Autoweek, Car and Driver and ABC’s Good Morning America.

Curtis is a Kansas native raised in Oskaloosa and received his B.A. in Mass Media from Washburn University in 2002.
